Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal via Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Our courteous representatives shall cordially receive you at the airport. They will escort you to your lodgings, where you may rest and refresh. We will take you to the local market of Thamel to make last-minute preparations for the trek. You will get a briefing from the assigned guide for the thrilling two weeks of Himalayan Adventure. We rest well and get ready for the exciting two weeks ahead.
Day 2

Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,610 m)

If the weather permits, we board an early morning flight to Lukla. This will be a thrilling half-hour flight above the snow-capped Himalayas. We will take the preliminary views of the Himalayas from the air. The trek will start from the town of Lukla, where we will meet our porters and follow the trail alongside the Dudh Koshi river. This introductory trek day helps us acclimate while enjoying nature, prayer wheels, and fluttering prayer flags. Overnight will be in Phakding
Day 3

Trek to Namche Bazaar

We will have some time of descent towards the Dudh Koshi river while we trace towards Phakding. The trail will traverse the vibrant, verdant landscapes and precarious suspension bridges spanning the tumultuous Dudh Koshi River. This will be a journey of about 6 hours. We will traverse with the enchanting views of Thamserku and a few opening glimpses of Everest. The day will energise us for the thrilling adventure coming by. Overnight will be spent in a guesthouse in Namche Bazaar
Day 4

Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

We have scheduled a rest day today. This rest day allows us to adapt to the lower oxygen levels and adjust to the higher altitude. Today, we will explore the historically and culturally rich town of Namche Bazaar with the opening panoramic views of the Himalayan grandeur. We can also embark on an optional trek to the renowned Hotel Everest View and explore the culturally rich Sherpa Museum. The hike will ease our bodies, and the visit to Sherpa Village enhances our immersion in the culture of Namche. Overnight in Namche.
Day 5

Trek to Dole

After an eventful acclimatization day, we will follow a quiet trail that climbs through the rhododendron plants, joined by the alpine meadows. We will pass the Mong La with its stupa and its fantastic array of views before reaching to Dole. Dole is a peaceful village of teahouses with a more remote and less trodden path into the Gokyo Valley. As we gain altitude, vegetation and oxygen levels become thinner, but the vistas will grow more adrenaline-pumping and dramatic
Day 6

Trek to Machherma

We trek for about 5 hours we reach Machhermo, which lies at a significant altitude gain of 4470m. We shall be privy to unspoiled vistas, immersing ourselves in the resplendent spectacle of the Ngozumpa Glacier. This trail gradually climbs through the yak pasturelands and a few small Sherpa Villages. Machhermo is a serene village that has basic teahouses and a small health post to provide first aid. We will spend the night in a basic teahouse in Machhermo
Day 7

Trek to Gokyo

We will enter the heart-warming Gokyo valley. The trail today will pass through the rugged and stony terrain and beside the glacier moraines. We will also pass through the views of Ngoxumpa Glacier, which is also the longest in the Himalayas. We will find Gokyo nestled beside the tranquility of Gokyo Lakes. Gokyo Lakes are surrounded by snow-capped peaks. We will soak in the serenity of Gokyo Lakes and spend our overnight here
Day 8

Hike to Gokyo Ri and Return

Today, we will wake up early and hike for almost 2-3 hours to Gokyo Ri, which is a steep ascent at a staggering elevation of 5357m. We shall allocate approximately two hours to capture these indelible moments digitally. Gokyo Ri is a viewpoint that arguably rewards us with the best views of Mt. Everest and its surroundings. Thereafter, we shall return to Gokyo, where we shall abide for the day.
Day 9

Trek to Lunden via Renjo La Pass

The stay and exploration of Gokyo Lake and Gokyo Ri will be expanded towards the Renjo La Pass. Renjo La Pass is a great, steep pass situated at an elevation of 5360m. From the top, we will be rewarded with the tranquil views of the Himalayan Tapestry. The descent to Lunden will also provide the scenic backdrop. This day will be tiring but equally rewarding. We will reach Lunden for our overnight stay.
Day 10

Trek to Thame

The descent towards Thame crosses the alpine terrain and sparse settlements as we leave the high passes behind our backs. This uneven descent will lead us towards the small settlement of Thame, where we will observe the culturally rich Sherpa monastery and a quiet atmosphere. The trek today will feel a bit relaxed and allow us to recover from the previous day’s challenge while enjoying Himalayan culture and the serene tranquility.
Day 11

Trek to Namche Bazaar

Today, we will head back towards Namche Bazaar through the lush pine forests and mountain paths. As we descend gradually, the air feels heavier, and walking becomes more comfortable. Along the way, we meet the locals and yaks while revisiting the same tapestry we left behind while ascending. Namche will feel warm compared to the higher elevations. We will get an opportunity to stroll around and taste the local bakeries with modern amenities, tempting us after a while.
Day 12

Trek to Lukla

This will be the last section of walking in this trek. As we spend the day retracing our route from Namche to Lukla, we will be refreshed through the forests, suspension bridges, and small villages like Phakding. This descent will be of about 6-7 hours, but be demanding on the knees as we have steeper descents than the previous ones. We will stay overnight in Lukla while we prepare for our return to Kathmandu
Day 13

Fly to Kathmandu/Manthali and Drive Back

This is our last day of the trek as we board our flight towards Kathmandu or Manthali, depending on the weather. The retraces of magnificent views of the mountains will follow us again for the last time. Only if the weather becomes friendly will we get back to Kathmandu and enjoy the urban amenities. We will have a celebration dinner tonight in Kathmandu, sharing our experience and the journey.
Day 14

Final Departure

Depending on our flight schedule, we will stroll around Kathmandu city to buy some souvenirs after the morning breakfast. Reflecting on our amazing journey to the Gokyo lakes and Gokyo Ri, we will carry the memories of the Himalayan peaks, Sherpa culture, and personal achievement.
