Everest Base Camp (5,364m):

Everest Base Camp is the base of Mount Everest and a bucket-list adventure for high-altitude adventure seekers. Kala Patthar (5,545m):

We will get to stand on the elevation of staggering with the gigantic view of the Everest, Changtse, Nuptse, and others in the backdrop. At dawn’s first blush, embark on the ascent to Kala Patthar, the zenith of our odyssey, where the heavens seem within reach. We are rewarded with the closest view of Everest. Kongma La Pass (5,535m):

The Kongma La Pass is the highest of the three passes we will cross for this trek. Renjo La Pass (5,360m):

Renjo La Pass, which stands tall at an elevation of 5360m, connects us from Gokyo to Lunden. This pass is a little bit easier as the strenuous steep is a bit less as compared than others. This pass crossing rewards us with the very famous views of Everest, Gokyo Valley, and Cho Oyu in our backdrop. This pass is the final of our three-pass trek and will make the other steep and adventurous passes feel easier on our knees.

Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri (5,357m):

The Gokyo Lakes are a serene landscape with the coloured water framed around the high peaks and glaciers. Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal via Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Our courteous representatives shall cordially receive you at the airport. They will escort you to your lodgings, where you may rest and refresh. We will take you to the local market of Thamel to make last-minute preparations for the trek. You will get a briefing from the assigned guide for the thrilling two weeks of Himalayan Adventure. We rest well and get ready for the exciting three weeks ahead
Day 2

Fly to Lukla or Drive to Manthali & Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding

If the weather permits, we board an early morning flight to Lukla; if not, it will be a drive to Manthali. This will be a thrilling half-hour flight above the snow-capped Himalayas. Amidst the whispering zephyrs, sacred prayer wheels hum with ancient mantras, their rotations weaving blessings into the ether, while vibrant prayer flags dance, their silken hues fluttering like ethereal spirits against the Himalayan tapestry. We will take the preliminary views of the Himalayas from the air. The trek will start from the town of Lukla, where we will meet our porters and follow the trail alongside the Dudh Koshi river.
Day 3

Trek to Namche Bazaar

We will have some time of descent towards the Dudh Koshi river while we trace towards Phakding. The trail will traverse the vibrant, verdant landscapes and precarious suspension bridges spanning the tumultuous Dudh Koshi River. This will be a journey of about 6 hours. We will traverse with the enchanting views of Thamserku and a few opening glimpses of Everest. The day will energise us for the thrilling adventure coming by. Overnight will be spent in a guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.
Day 4

Acclimatization Day at Namche. Bazaar

We have scheduled a rest day today. This rest day allows us to adapt to the lower oxygen levels and adjust to the higher altitude. Today, we will explore the historically and culturally rich town of Namche Bazaar with the opening panoramic views of the Himalayan grandeur. We can also embark on an optional trek to the renowned Hotel Everest View and explore the culturally rich Sherpa Museum. The hike will ease our bodies, and the visit to Sherpa Village enhances our immersion in the culture of Namche. Overnight in Namche.
Day 5

Trek to Tengboche

We will first descend through the forests of Deboche and cross Imja Khola to start the trail today. We will have a gradual ascent past Pangboche Village. Today, we will be offered the most enchanting and breathtaking views of Ama Dablam and alpine meadows. The village of Dingboche is a charming Sherpa Village that sits in a wide valley. We will be spending our overnight in this village.
Day 6

Trek to Dingboche

Trek 5-6 hours from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m). Descend through rhododendron forests, cross the Imja Khola, and ascend gradually to Pangboche. Continue to Dingboche, a picturesque village in the Imja Valley with views of Lhotse and Island Peak. The higher altitude demands a steady pace. Overnight in a teahouse.
Day 7

Acclimatization Day at Dingboche

We have a rest day to adapt more with the higher altitude today. We will have a short, steep hike towards the nearby Nangkartsang Peak, which stands tall at 5083m. This is rather a challenging climb, but is rewarded with the mind-blowing views of the nearby mountains like Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Manaslu. This ascent will aid us with the acclimatization that reduces the risks of altitude sickness.
Day 8

Trek to Chhukung

We will have a short day of trekking today. This trek will last for about 4 hours. This short day is for preparing for the Kongma La Pass. This trail will follow the Imja Valley and offers views of Island Peak and rugged terrains. Chhukung is a peaceful settlement that offers the ideal views to refresh. This is also a perfect place before a challenging pass. We will stay in a teahouse.
Day 9

Trek to Lobuche via Kongma La Pass

This is a big day as we will cross the major pass of Kongma La. This pass stands at a tall elevation of 5535m and is the highest among the passes we cross in this journey. The strenuous ascent, however, offers stunning glacier and peak views. We have to descend carefully from a cliff towards Lobuche. We will be rewarded with the dramatic scenery. Day 10

Trek to Everest Base Camp and Back to Gorak Shep

This is a trek of 6-8 hours from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp via the major stopover of Gorak Shep. We will follow the path of the Khumbu Glacier to reach EBC, which is the base of Everest. We will soak into the atmosphere before returning to Gorak Shep, and the high altitude makes this place amongst the demanding days. We will stay in a teahouse of Gorak Shep.
Day 11

Hike to Kala Patthar and Descend to Lobuche

Early morning hike to Kala Patthar awaits. We repose in the tranquil embrace of Phakding, the zenith of our ascent, where the soul finds solace under the watchful gaze of starlit peaks. The Kala Patthar viewpoint provides us with a perfectly picturesque view of the peaks like Everest, Changtse, and Nuptse. We will get back to Gorak Shep, have breakfast, and start descending. Overnight in Lobuche..
Day 12

Trek to Dzongla

We will have a short day of trekking for about 5 days today. The trail diverges from the major route to EBC while reaching Dzongla. We will descend to the quieter valley with the enchanting views of Cholatse and Taboche. Dzongla is a small settlement that is a perfect place for a rest before the Cho La Pass. This day allows us to recover from the tiredness of yesterday and be fresh for tomorrow.
Day 13

Trek to Gokyo via Cho La Pass

We will trek to Gokyo via Cho La Pass. Cho La Pass is another strenuous path at a staggering 5420m. This pass provides us with panoramic views of Ama Dablam and Cholatse. We will descend towards Gokyo, which is another picturesque spot to chill and soak. Overnight will be in a teahouse by the lake.
Day 14

Climb Gokyo Ri and Return to Gokyo

We will climb to Gokyo Ri, which is a major viewpoint with the most beautiful panoramic views of the towering peaks, including Everest. By midday, we shall return to the sanctified haven of Gokyo, where we shall linger in tranquil contemplation, enraptured by the cerulean splendor of the Gokyo Lakes and the majestic sprawl of the Ngozumpa Glacier. We will spend a few hours soaking in the atmosphere and take a few photos. Overnight in a teahouse.
Day 15

Trek to Lunden via Renjo La Pass

We will have another long day of about 8 hours. We will cross the last pass of this trek, which is Renjo La Pass at 5360m. This lofty ascent unveils a panorama of unparalleled grandeur, with the resplendent visage of Everest and the verdant Gokyo Valley forming a celestial backdrop. We will descend towards the village of Lunden, which is a quiet village. This is a challenging day that completes the Three Passes trek.
Day 16

Trek to Thame

We will have a descend day towards the village of Thame. The trail today will feel a bit easier, and we will feel the heavy air with the descending elevation. Thame’s monastery and cultural heritage will offer us a peaceful stop. This lower altitude and shorter day will be a much-needed break for us. We will have an overnight stay in a teahouse
Day 15

Trek to Namche Bazaar

Today, we will head back towards Namche Bazaar through the lush pine forests and mountain paths. As we descend gradually, the air feels heavier, and walking becomes more comfortable. Along the way, we meet the locals and yaks while revisiting the same tapestry we left behind while ascending. Namche will feel warm compared to the higher elevations. We will get an opportunity to stroll around and taste the local bakeries with modern amenities, tempting us after a while.
Day 18

Trek to Lukla

This will be the last section of walking in this trek. As we retrace our path from the bustling emporium of Namche to the rustic outpost of Lukla. This descent will be of about 6-7 hours, but be demanding on the knees as we have steeper descents than the previous ones. Our spirits are rejuvenated amidst sylvan forests, over vertiginous suspension bridges swaying like gossamer threads, and through hamlets such as Phakding. In Lukla, we shall abide for the night, our souls fortified as we gird ourselves for the return to the ancient embrace of Kathmandu.
Day 19

Fly to Kathmandu or Manthali, Drive to Kathmandu

This is our last day of the trek as we board our flight towards Kathmandu or Manthali, depending on the weather. The retraces of magnificent views of the mountains will follow us again for the last time. Only if the weather becomes friendly will we get back to Kathmandu and enjoy the urban amenities. We will have a celebration dinner tonight in Kathmandu, sharing our experience and the journey.
Day 20

Departure from Kathmandu.

Depending on our flight schedule, we will stroll around Kathmandu city to buy some souvenirs after the morning breakfast. Reflecting on our amazing journey to the Gokyo lakes and Gokyo Ri, we will carry the memories of the Himalayan peaks, Sherpa culture, and personal achievement.
